Our Mission

Apostolic Christian Church of Livonia earnestly seeks to interpret the Bible literally. The teachings of Jesus Christ and His Apostles serve as the doctrinal foundation of the church. It is the sincere intent of its members to live by the Word of God in all aspects of their lives.

A complete description of our Doctrine and Faith can be found on our Apostolic Christian Church of America website.

The church is one of approximately 90 congregations in the United States, Japan, Mexico and Canada (map of locations). We are engaged in a number of activities centered around Jesus Christ’s great commission to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

Some of these activities include work with our national organization called Apostolic Christian World Relief which collects both financial and material aid for distribution to persons in need on a worldwide basis. A national Missionary Committee has oversight of the church's special programs to spread God's Word which several of our local congregation members participate in. The national church also operates nursing homes for the elderly in several states - including one on-site at our Livonia location, a Home for the Handicapped in Morton, Illinois along with several satellite residential facilities, and a Children's Home in Leo, Indiana.

Our local congregation also conducts activities focused on spreading the gospel message in our own local community through the Hands & Feet organization. This is a church-wide opportunity to come together and share the blessings which God has provided to those in need. (Matthew 25:40) More on these and other events can be found in the Events section of this site. We welcome you to join us as we continue to spread the gospel message in many ways.
